Why Do You Hate Democracy

If you look around this country today it seems as if everything is being torn down and destroyed. It’s a sad sight to see only because I have a feeling that many of these people who are rioting and looting never probably been to another country and see how the people are living.

My Facebook feed is full of people hating on Democracy and Capitalism and screaming for change a change of political ideologies. Many are preaching about Socialism and even the dreaded “C” word called Communism.

I have traveled to many countries and have seen the good and the bad in them and to be honest nothing is better than Democracy hands down. Believe me! Where else can you go and protest, speak your mind whether it’s positive or negative and not have a “Hit Squad” come to your house late at and beat your ass. 

Imagine this rioting or looting happening in another country? I can guarantee that many would have been killed or thrown in some work camp forever. 

Yes I understand that Democracy has its faults but it’s way better than Socialism, Communism and any other “ism” you can think of. 

Just look at the life you are living? I bet you have a phone that costs a grand, expensive pair of sneakers and probably drive a euro import talking about Capitalism sucks! Yet without Capitalism you would not have what you have now! I have seen how poor people live in other countries and let me tell you that the poor here have it way better. Let’s just say American poor is rich to other poor people that don’t live here. 

If Democracy is so bad then why do we have so many immigrants coming here? Immigrants from all over the world! Why? Because Democracy will give any man or woman the chance to become someone better. A chance to build something start something. This is the only place in the world where all you need is to be determined and you will succeed. 

I understand that you may not believe what I’m saying but it’s true. You also have to remember that whatever man builds in the world has its flaws. It’s never perfect. Socialism and Communism are not perfect either. Also they are ideas invented by old rich Europeans who never worked a day in their lives! It’s all flawed! But the best from the group is Democracy. 

What would happen if Democracy is no more? We would all suffer and it will definite my lower our high lifestyle. You will have no rights, no right to vote, right to work or right to live. We will quickly be like those countries with a hungry populace and no money for their economy. Be careful what you wish you for because when you get it it’s not going to be what you expected. Stop using your emotions to dictate how you are going to act, instead use your mind! The heart only lives for the now and not the future only the mind thinks ahead to the future.

So sit back and think! Deeply think about your views of Democracy. Travel and see how the other people living and way the pros and cons. After you do that you will find out that Democracy right now although in imperfect is the best game in town!
